How They Met: Jamie and Alex officially met on Hinge; however, they had actually first matched on Bumble. (Jamie humorously stopped responding to Alex on Bumble after a couple of dull back-and-forth messages!) When Jamie and Alex reconnected on Hinge, Alex was boarding a flight to Europe and wouldn’t return to the States for over 16 days. She left it to Jamie to remember to reach out once she returned. Fortunately, Jamie did. After that, they enjoyed their first date in NYC, which led to a few more dates (their favorite being a day trip to Coney Island), and they have been inseparable ever since.

The Proposal: Jamie decided to completely blow Alex away and surprise her with the proposal (per her wishes, though he exceeded her expectations by far!). Alex had planned a trip with her mom for a "mother/daughter" weekend at Rehoboth Beach months in advance. Jamie took it upon himself to collaborate with her mom and turn that weekend into their engagement celebration.

Jamie managed to convince Alex and her mom to attend a "family friend’s happy hour" at the beach, where he surprised her by getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him. They then spent the weekend celebrating and cherishing the moment with Alex’s immediate family!

The Ring: Jamie proposed to Alex with a Round Cut Diamond set in our 3-row pavé band!
