Gold Vermeil: Gold Vermeil is Sterling Silver dipped in 14K Gold. It's referred to as Demi-fine jewelry as it's made from pure metals but has a base of Sterling Silver, making it more affordable than Fine Jewelry which is pure 14K gold. It's the highest quality of goldplated jewelry.
Care for Gold Vermeil: Proper care is needed to maintain Gold Vermeil. Remove jewelry when washing hands, bathing and swimming. Avoid perfumes, lotions and cleaning supplies.
*We offer a re-plating service. To learn more email info@AlexandraBeth.com
Goldfill: Goldfill is a solid layer of gold mechanically bonded to a base of either sterling silver or base metal. The process is different than plating, and will wear better than goldplated items. Because of the unique manufacturing process, not all pieces are available in goldfill.
Care for Goldfill: Avoid wearing in chlorine/salt water (i/e take off before swimming). Avoid perfumes, lotions and cleaning supplies.
Solid 14K Gold: Solid 14K Gold jewelry is considered Fine Jewelry. It's made entirely of gold and will last forever.
Care for Solid 14K Gold: These pieces are forever pieces and will never fade.
